Red Oak Campground — Reviews

Seasonal campers have let their places go. It looks trashy. Weeds abound. Activities cost more in addition to a higher camping cost for the surrounding. It is. Not kept up.

I ordered wood from them and it was wet so our camp fire was a dud. Last year we could have WiFi as a guest and now we have to pay for it . Pool was very cold and a lot of algae on steps . They did due corn for the campers and it was delicious thank you for that . The showers could have been a lot cleaner

Trailer we rented was in need of repair: no smoke alarm, fan over stove didn't work, light over sink bulb was half black and malfunctioning, ceiling fan lights flickered constantly, evidence of rodents in drawers , mouse poison packets everywhere, molding loose and sticking out and limited hot water. If you had your own equipment....it was quiet, camp store nicely stocked.

We had a wonderful time here. We had everything we needed. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms and showers were great. The price was so reasonable for such nice amenities. The have a good camp store. This is a great spot for kids and dogs. We highly recommend.

Small sites with full hook ups, not very level and wifi is $6.00 per day, also no cell phone service
