I would have given 4, maybe,5 stars. Unfortunately I forgot to drop off my access pass and who ever call to tell me was very rude. It was an honest mistake, I said I would get it in the mail immediately, no reason to be nasty. We come every year, I have to say although the campground is very well kept, bathrooms are spotless, how the staff treats you hold a lot of weight.

Sites are large for a private campground. They obviously care about the place because it was immaculate and manicured. They’ve actually planted trees! Seamless reservation and check in. For $50 per night!?! It’s a deal. I hope they are covering their costs and don’t get greedy. If we are ever in this area again, we will stay at red rock Ponds.

The campground was secure, quiet, well kept, grass was cut and trimming was done everywhere. Good size campground, not too big or too small. Sites were comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was that the office/store was only open 10-4. So the bathrooms that were located closest to us, in the office building, were only open 10-4. They should find a way to close the office when they want but be able to keep those bathrooms open like the other bath houses. Otherwise, great time there and will return next time in the area.

It is a beautiful campground! Very well taken care of. Right by the Erie Canal. Two city parks near by with waterfalls. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly!

Nice place. Easy in easy out. Lots of things to do. Ponds, Beach, trails, store...Could spend summer here and head south in late fall. Snowbirds dream. Be back...
