Relax Ridge Overnight Campground — Reviews

It’s was a nice quiet campground, close to Pinawa Dam, suspension bridge & the town of Pinawa. We wanted to do the River rafting but it rained that day. It too was within walking distance of the campground.

The sites and facilities were well maintained and clean. Communication was clear and responsive. The setting is very pretty and within walking distance to the suspension bridge and close to the beach. Lots to do around Pinawa. Relax Ridge was a great place to stay and was nice and quiet.

We’ll kept campgrounds, and bathrooms. Close to amenities, tubing and swimming. Owner/ host was very helpful and friendly.

Road can be noisy and busy because of buses, cars,etc going to/from tube float. Missed no store/ice cream in park. Nothing to do unless you drive to town. Would like water in site. Some sites too close together. BUT nice little campground.

We had a very clean camp spot and the washroom were very clean as well!

Always a great stay. The campsites are very private and sheltered so noise does not travel. Very close to all the attractions around Pinawa!

Nice little campground. The owner is quick to respond when something is needed (firewood, questions about check-in) and the sites were tidied up nicely (weedwhacked, no poison ivy). The bathrooms/showers are very nice and clean! The only complaint that I have is that there is no map of the campground, which would have been helpful when booking. There are videos of each site though.

Great facilities, close to everything pinawa has to offer.

We enjoy the proximity to the float. The sites are nice. However, more frequent check ins for the showers/ washrooms would have been nice. By the end of the day they were quite dirty. Also, quiet time was 10:30 yet there was loud music this weekend until well into the night right across the street to the campsite that was not open to the overnight campers. There were a lot of families with small children camping which may not have been welcomed. We however enjoyed the music.

The week was great until a load of 6 came into site 18 beside us. They sat around the fire and swore fbombs all night till 1 a.m. our camper being a hybrid lets sounds in the tent walls easier than a hard shell. It took a lot not to issue a complaint at that late hour. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Nothing stood out at this campground and at $38 per night for electrical power (30 amp) is higher than I've encounter (I knew the price beforehand).

Love the atmosphere of the place each day. Would like to make it a yearly trip for the family.
