Kenorus Campground — Reviews

We stayed in a bunkie which was really nice. The first night we went to the rec centre and played pool but on the second night everything was closed up tight and there were no amenities available. I didn’t understand why they locked everything up when it apparently was to be open. There was nothing to do and no one around to ask. It was rather disappointing especially since the night before we saw staff after 8. I’m hoping that this changes and the staff will keep things open a bit longer for people to use.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kenorus Campgrounds in Port Elgin! Great sites, lovely grounds! Close to fabulous beaches and little towns to explore (South Hampton is BEAUTIFUL!) Staff was friendly and helpful ... We will be back! Highly recommend!

Great location for things we enjoy when we are up there. Bike ride into Southampton off the Bruce trail and had a wonderful time at the beach. Caught the Southampton sunset and had some lovely dinners out at Walker House and Wismer. Enjoyed some time in the adult pool as well.

Wonderful park. Friendly people. Lots of great places to walk and play. Proximity to Port Elgin beach and Southampton beach are fantastic.

We love the facility in general, and the area (Port Elgin and Southampton region) is perfect for us. We also really like the staff, and having a couple of pool options (plus other games for a rainy day). We did the tiny home this year and will be back again soon!

Had a great time met nice people

The site and location were beautiful. It would be nice to access the bike trail without traveling along highway 21, but very handy to Southampton and Port Elgin. The electricity system needs to be upgraded. We were unable to use it for anything other than lights. Everything else was sporadic.

We had a great stay. The two managers were great and answered any questions we had. We would certainly stay there again and recommend the campground to our friends. Thanks much.
