Richards Park — Reviews

My site was level and the hookups were excellent. The bathroom was so dirty I didn’t take a shower or use the toilet. There is no privacy curtain to divide the showers from the restroom, which means children could view a naked man drying off. The park is large and has large trees. A commercial carnival was setting up next to the RV sites. One “RV” was a multi-unit dorm trailer for workers.

Nice area. Bathrooms were clean. Great price for full hookups.

The park was clean and quiet

Perfect stay. If I have a concern to share, at the full hookup sites that we have used, the drain for the sewer is elevated causing issues when emptying our unit.

Park was nice and clean. Had a little trouble finding it via GPS at 10pm. Once I found my way park was peaceful for a goods night rest while on the road.

Great spot. But, had a man feeding stray cats twice a day and got ugly with us because our dogs barked at him and the cats. Had cross country coach blowing his whistle before 6:30am. City workers standing around talking near the rv before 7am. All of these happened on different days. Not the most pleasant of stays. Would recommend if not for all the inconsiderate people.

I had reserved site 4, but could not find the site. I just picked another site to stay in. Other than that it was a nice park.

We would have given 5 stars, but the trash bins hadn't been emptied in a while, were full and smelled. The power sporadically went from 120v to over 130v, which kept triggering our EMS and shutting down. In order to make it work we had to switch over to bypass to turn off the EMS, which puts all of our appliances and ACs at risk. Also it would be a great idea to add a small laundry facility.

Our spot was occupied when we arrived. Had to call city and take another spot.

It was awesome, except: the restroom was well stocked, but the restrooms were not clean enough for us. We did not use the showers at all. It was also very cold and had no climate control. We saw people that were not camping… were steadily coming to shower and leaving the park immediately following. There’ is a lady feeding the stray cats that live in the wooded area right next to the creek It’s a beautiful park. It is very quiet. The landscaping was very nice with very little liter. The liter we saw was next to the creek and wasn’t much.. There were no stickers near our site. We would stay there again when passing through Brady. As long as we have our own restroom.

The site we had was 57 and was supposed to be for a small trailer which we have, however; those sites should be for tent camping as the slope is too much to back a trailer in. Also it would be nice to have the sites numbered.
