The park was very clean and quiet. Close to the river and saw a little wildlife

This was one of the nicest RV parks I’ve stayed in. Loved the trees, loved the peaceful surroundings. An easy walking distance to the Cumbres and Toltec train. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

Nice park that was very quiet and comfortable. Loved hearing the train whistle and seeing the train come through twice a day.

Great staff, huge spaces, the train and a great BBQ restaurant close by. Definitely a five star.

Bill our camp host, greeted us with a smile and had all our info at his fingertips. The park is very pretty and it was very close to ride the train the next day.

This was our first time camping in a privately owned camp ground. We have to say this was by far our best experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility was pristine. Highly recommended going here.

Our only complaint is the site was very cramped. We were on the River and there was little space between RVs. Staff were kind and courteous. Grounds were clean. Most sites were very shaded. Will definitely return but may try a larger site next time.

Beautiful park, clean, shady and mostly relaxing. The bonus of the train going right by was great. Mosquitoes were bad early and late but not the parks fault.

Nice clean park! Quiet and peaceful!

The registration process was very easy. When we got to the park we were greeted and welcomed. Roy showed us our site and we got settled. My husband and I were so pleased with the property, layout of the campsites and cleanness of the bathrooms that we went back to the office and added 2 more nights to our stay! What a lovely woodsy place with charm and peaceful. We saw two deer grazing one evening on our walk. The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad came right through the edge of the campground and it was fun to watch the people go by on the train twice a day and wave. Bonnie who was at the desk checking in and answering questions was very friendly and answered all our questions. We were very pleased and enjoyed our stay. We have it listed as one of our favorites.
