Everything is lively, but while I laud the “no smoking anywhere” policy, my elderly husband likes his moments with a cigar. So, he left the property several times a day. Why not a specified “smoking pit.”

It was clean, pretty, and quiet.The hot tub and pool were great. The front desk girls were a bit snooty after having to ask for extra help. The wifi situation was not good at all. It should be documented more clearly that if your in back lots it's sketchy.! Otherwise great!

Clean! Welcoming & helpful employees. Restaurant! Laundry! Convenient! Beautiful stop on Lake Superior to camp. Gorgeous sunset. Wish we had more time there.

This campground was one of the nicest that we have stayed in. The amenities were wonderful, the pool, hot tub, pizza & bar were all more than we expected. The riverside chairs, also the ones in the river, were amazing. We generally use the campground as a base and explore the local area, but this trip we didn’t want to leave our place. I highly recommend Rippling River Resort to everyone. If ever in the UP again this place is a must-stop and stay again.

Overall good experience. Its our 3rd visit since 2025. Really enjoy the trip. Reason for 4 star vs 5 is simply felt the staff lost some customer service focus. Definitely felt more casual and not as attentive as prior visits. Bathrooms lacked cleaning. The also need to look up. Those vents havent been cleaned in some time. Picnic tables are sketchy We will return but staff needs to be reminded what ownership has on the line. Im sure standards are set, but are they hitting them. Lastly the 9pm/10pm employee in the work truck with lights, windows down, music blaring (good songs Michael Jackson last night) reminder several families have youngsters kids like we do, every night our youngest was asleep, please be mindful of that.

Great location, secluded lot, the bar at river’s edge was a cool feature with Adirondack chairs to sit in right in the river.

Well there's nice amenities. It was awful having an industrial mower going at 9:15 a.m. which is supposedly quiet time on a Friday morning when the park is full. When I asked her if she could please stop or if it was necessary, she annoyingly kept going in circles around the rocks by our camper mowing dust into it. It wasn't just us. Everyone was bothered by it. This noise went on for 45 minutes prime camping time when people are there to experience nature. For this reason I would not go back there. when I called to the front desk to see if they could have her come in and do it a different time they said sorry our rangers are on a schedule.

Sites a little close, but great facilities and very convenient to Bike trails and Marquette.

Location was fantastic. Loved being able to ride trails from the site. Beer and live music were a big plus. Cleaning and upkeep prevented 5 stars. Pioneer loop could use a camp host.

It was nice enough. The site was level and long enough. Roads are a tad narrow on the street side. Lots of road noise in AMs. There were lots of kids on bikes. Very family friendly. There is a bar in the camp store. But at 10:00 PM things really do completely shut down and quiet down. Busy place. Nice enough. Not a quiet retreat though if that's what you are looking for. Bath houses and laundry were very nice. They still use quarters.

Junk Fish pizza was great, we had a blast in the pool and hot tub, our dogs loved the river, awesome helpful staff.

Nice campground with amenities but not worth the price.

We’ve traveled in our RV all around the US…including AZ and all over CA. Rippling River is the most expensive campground we’ve stayed in. Yes Marquette is beautiful and fun, no doubt about it. Rippling River is on a beautiful piece of land, and has very clean bathrooms, but for that price? They also had the latest check in time of any place we’ve stayed, and our campsite had garbage in the fire pit when we arrived and it was not cleaned out in the time we were there.

Beautiful location and friendly staff

This was a nice campground with clean restrooms and a cool place to have drinks with good food though limited. The only things that weren't great was that there were prickly weeds/overgrowth around electric and sewer at my site. The 30amp also had a Missing Ground warning message on my Watchdog but luckily I had a 50 to 30 convertor. I reported to the front desk and never received confirmation it was fixed. The mini golf course was pretty unkept and sweeping/vacuuming would have made the $3 cost more reasonable.
