Family friendly and peaceful! Perfect holiday weekend and amazing owners!

Great campground on the Muskegon river nice large spaces and quiet

Our stay at River Country Campground was exactly what we needed. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and it was clear they work hard to create a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. The campground has something for everyone, whether you want to spend the day floating the river, kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing by the campfire. What stood out most was how easy it was to disconnect from the stress of everyday life and reconnect with family. The campsites were spacious, the grounds were well maintained, and there were plenty of activities to keep both kids and adults entertained. Some of our favorite memories came from quiet mornings by the river and evenings spent around the fire sharing stories and laughing together. If you’re looking for a place where you can slow down, enjoy nature, and make lasting memories with the people you love, River Country Campground is well worth the visit. We can’t wait to come back.

Camping group near us was amazing but there was no consideration from management in the office regarding paying campers they only cared about themselves .

Campground needs some TOC.

The campground is beautiful but trying to contact anyone there is impossible they don't answer their phones.

Nice quiet campground. We enjoyed our stay and the seasonal campers were great. The bathrooms need some work but hopefully the owners are working on that.

We enjoyed our time there. Was a last minute trip and offered family amenities at a reasonable rate. The front office gets a little backed up from time to time, but they try hard and value customer service.

The site we had was perfect for our 5th wheel camper right on the river! It was very relaxing and had a great time kayaking down the Muskegon river right to the campground.
