River Grove Campground and Cabins — Reviews

The cabin was very warm and cozy

Bathrooms and camp spots were clean and well maintained. I wish there was a bit more trees for privacy between spots but during the week it was quiet.

We really enjoyed the location, even though we were close to the playground. Only problem we had were the teenagers that were incredibly loud late Sunday night.

This campground was wonderful, family oriented, and so many things to do there.

Overall it was a good experience. Our site was back against the south fence and so was nice and sort of private with no traffic through it. The facility is clean and everything is well maintained. The dump station is easy to access and has a nice wash hose to keep things clean. The only thing at all (small thing) is that there is not much grass around and as we were travelling with dogs it is always nice to have more grassy spots for them to play and run around on.

Loved the campground but didn’t like having to pay an extra $10 to confirm the site we wanted. Have never had to do this anywhere I have camped before.

Stayed in a cabin which was fully stocked with essentials. Plenty of room for two adults and two children

Had an amazing time! Lots of room on lots and easy to get backed into and set up. Shout out to the staff for retrieving a lost toy out of the tree. Tons of amenities right on site for kids and just off the beaten path enough to be very peaceful.

The campground is very close to town and the river. This made it so easy very easy to enjoy the excursion's. Very clean bathroom, reasonably priced amenity’s. The only thing is the campground sites are not very private, very open and compact together. We had lovely neighbour's though.

We stayed 3 nights here and overall it was an okay stay. We other reviews have stated, the spots are extremely close together and you are practically on top of your neighbour. On the plus side there's lots of amenities and it's a short walk to the centre of downtown Drumheller. Personally, I won't be staying here again because the pricing is a bit outrageous for how tiny the spots are and I like my privacy and space when camping.
