This place was so nice. I made last minute reservations and was pleasantly surprised at the campground. It’s right on Saco river and a great place to bring kayaks, and reasonably located between Portland and York! Plus you get fresh eggs from the chickens on property!

Great campground. Very clean, great amenities and friendly people.

The campground was just beautiful, full of trees and very quiet. My dog especially loved swimming in the river. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

This was a like finding a secret paradise hidden away in the Forrest. Everything about it was magical. The staff were awesome. The kids made friends and kept busy at the park and game room!!

Great location, facilities, and people. We will stay here again.

The campgrounds are quiet, inviting, and scenic. We found the staff to be incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our family was only upset that we weren’t staying longer.

Stay was great at the tent spots right on the river. Great location with a short drive to downtown areas, disc golf, breweries, and the beach.

Small space, too close to neighbors, no gravel, just dirt. Showers not very clean without adequate shelf space to put anything. Overall site not very well maintained. Retreat? Just not my idea of one. Would not return.

Loved the quiet, riverside campsite, and the lovely folks who own/run the camp! The bathrooms were clean, and everything operated well. The child with us loved the young goat, chickens, and guinea fowl, and enjoyed the playground. My friends and I plan to return!

The woman that was tenting next to our spot seemed to be set up for the entire season. She was very loud and had a TV in her tent that she kept on all night. Was not a quiet spot to be in to relax.

If you're looking for a quiet campground with easy access to coastal adventures, Riverbend is the perfect choice! We will be returning.

Awesome campground!! Great management & community. Loved the privacy and homeliness of it. Bathrooms were clean. Animals were cute. River was swimmable!

Fantastic spot to tent camp! Larger sites with a fire ring and picnic table. My spot was right up from the water so I felt like I had a private beach. Showers were 25 cents and worked well. Very clean bathrooms. Used the washer and dryer and they worked great. Owner is awesome! Will definitely be returning!
