River's Edge Campground — Reviews

The campground was very open and inviting. The bathhouses were first rate! The nature walk and swimming hole were quite awesome. Made a loop at sunrise and sunset this weekend. Definitely looking forward to coming again.

The camp ground was very clean and in such a nice location. The dog park was exactly what my dog needed to run around. The staff was super nice as well. I would definitely come back

Had a great stay! Everyone was so nice. The campsites were quiet and clean! The bathhouses were very nice as well and very clean! Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!!

When we first got there it was quite serine, then within the next hour till after 8:00 p.m. people filled in all around us. It was so noisy, could not sit outside. The sites are right up against each other, you could talk in a normal tone and people on both sides could contribute to the conversation. Great for multiple families wanting to get together. Not for older people that go to bed at 8:30.

We completely enjoyed our stay! Great location! Nice, quiet, relaxing. Great cell and internet service. We couldn't get tv service at our site which could be due to the trees but they provided great shade!! We love River's Edge Campground!

The park was immaculate!

Beautiful, well maintained campground. The bathrooms are pristine. Quiet, shaded, and peaceful. The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. We will be staying here again.

The campground is well maintained. Showers were immaculate. The dog park was shady and clean. The owners are friendly and helpful. Other campers were respectful. Everyone was having fun without imposing on others . Dogs were welcome and their owners had control of them. All the kids that we saw were enjoying the playground area and the nature signs. Camp store was well stocked and a gas/ convenience store is nearby. Overall, great experience. Will return soon.

Campground was very quiet and clean, reasonably priced and friendly owner. Beautiful scenery and mountainscapes, hour+ drive to cities with any restaurants or activities, but if u don’t mind driving and just enjoying nature then this is a great place to be

The bathrooms were great - very clean and the modern set up and decor were a nice touch. The grounds were clean with ample side lots. The outside sink was nice for cleaning items instead of having to use a bathroom sink. The swimming hole was really cool, too. The late check-in process could have been a bit smoother. The confirmation email did not list the site number or where to find the information if checking in late. However, they were accommodating when they responded by text. We would definitively stay again!

We love this little place, only wish it had a pool for the kids.

It’s always fun to go camping but there were a couple things. 1 which is nothing the campground had control over was the rain but we do need that, 2 water was low and ponds were not the best but again nothing they have control over. We made the best out of it and we still had a great time. Been there a few times and will be back again. The atmosphere is great. We love to just relax and be in nature.

Very nice campground. Very well maintained, bath houses are immaculate. Very nice people that work there . Owners are great, very friendly. Recommend this campground to everyone. You will not be disappointed!

Nice well maintained place. We arrived late and there was a spot assigned to us and a facilities info sheet waiting for us.
