Really beautiful campground and awesome cozy cabin. Warm and welcoming reception at check in and nice clean cabin. The cabin had all the necessities minus a coffee maker but the camp store served free coffee at 8:00 AM. Lots of quiet cozy camping. Definitely a must stay place in Big Sur.

The location right on the river was wonderful. The staff is friendly. Neighbors were respectfully quiet. It was fun to see kids running and laughing in a safe environment. BEST OF ALL: Nobody left a fire burning all day -- no smoke!

Cabins, bathrooms, and campground were very clean, staff was friendly and laid back, other campers were considerate and the location was idyllic. Thanks for a great stay!

Really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived The original campsite we had picked was used as parking by other guest. But the staff was really accommodating and got on it quickly. Offered us a different site which we ended up staying at & loved it . Hope that in the future more people are aware of where they park. Overall highly recommend staying here :)

What a beautiful location, especially if you get a spot right on the river. But whole resort is very family, friendly and quiet. We stayed in site number 37 which was right near the office and the camp store. We have a 27 foot travel trailer and they felt that would be the best place for us. Although there are other sites that take even larger RVs. They just weren’t available at the time that we booked. The staff were amazing! Particularly a young man named Wade and a young woman named Katherine. She was the ultimate tour guide and concierge. She knew all about the trails and gave very specific instructions on how to access them. The only downside and reason I gave it only four stars was that they charged a $12 per night “resort fee“. For this $12 I got a mediocre cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Also, I was allowed to use the public restrooms and showers on site if I chose to do so. I feel pretty insulted by a “resort fee at a campground that doesn’t have a rec room and a pool and hot tub, tennis courts, and other activities. That’s the reason for my four star review.

The campsite was beautiful, albeit muddy due to the rains the week before. The staff on site were extremely helpful and kind! Our only small complaint is that the wood they sold at the camp store was a bit damp and therefore did not light/stay lit for very long—it could have been user error as well! We would definitely come back!

The park is beautiful and feels really off grid, the little river running through it was a lot of fun for the kids and the lack of cell signal meant we could really enjoy an off grid experience in a beautiful peaceful place.

It was a magical setting, magical time of year. We enjoyed driving around Big Sur, eating great food, walking on the beautiful beaches, and a campfire at night. Only suggestion is when it's so wet, we should be provided floor mats or rugs to walk on. ❤️❤️❤️
