Riverside Campground — Reviews

This was a nice campground. Nice shower house, clean and well maintained. There is a nice view of Scottsbluff from our campsite. You need to scan the QR code on the camp site post to get the wifi password and the code to use the shower house. even with a reservation. There was sufficient cell service to get the QR code to work.

Bathrooms not maintained, grass was literally weeds with tumbleweed stickers so our dog was picking up stickers constantly. They have a dog poop station that wasn’t emptied the entire time we were there. Lots of maintenance issues.

Quiet, not overly busy and near an area where walking was nice.

Camp hose were very nice. Site was great. Bathrooms were ok, could use a deep clean. Shower had no hot water.

Fairly nice campground, some trees, mostly level sites.However, the bathrooms were pretty disgusting. Cobwebs, bugs and mold all present. Host seems to be irritated by her job.

Peaceful, friendly, and convenient!

There was no one to help us find our site, we could phone to get assistance but by then we worked out where we were supposed to be. The campground was generally cared for, although the hosts we absent a lot. Not a bad place over all, just not fantastic service.

Camp site was clean, bathroom as well.

Easy check-in, nice level site, very quiet, and there are lots of fun things to do nearby.

The campground was nicely located although a bit spooky in the night . The restrooms and showers were not cleaned at all and sanitary was dirty & run-downed, which gives the poor overall rating.

Men’s shower plumbing reversed so cold is hot and vice versa. Women’s room was locked one morning.

Basic but for the price and views, it was excellent.

Spot was great. Had a beautiful view of the bluffs very clean. The site was level and very quiet.

I love the location, and amenities. My particular site was some what small for my camper and vehicle, When I asked the attendant if I might move to a larger site she said they were all reserved. At the time of my departure 2 days later none of the perhaps dozen or so sites were occupied or had been. It was disappointing as it at most would only have required a number change on her part. I would definitely and likely will stay here again, it would just be my hope to have a different camp host.

Nothing special just ok

Lots of goat head sticker pickers made walking our dog tough. Camphost was hardly ever there, never came by, not there when checking in- so not very welcoming. The bath and shower house was clean but there are no privacy curtains for where you are supposed to get dried off and redress and no hooks in the shower stall area to hang towel etc. PRO- The view of Scott's Bluff monument is terrific. The park had nice trails and dog parks, RR rumble only nearby but no horns so did not affect sleep. Convenient location to shopping, restaurants and other services and historical places. We would peobably stay elsewhere if we return to the area.
