Beautiful and peaceful setting right on the river

Road down to campground was very steep and was the same road we had to use to get out. Site was not very maintained. No picnic tables or fire ring for our site either. River was moss covered.

The bathrooms need more attention. It was kind of like going to a college dorm. Nothing disgusting about it --- just not really attended to. Other than this, nice little spot. Would be a nice thing to let people know that the entrance is around a rock quarry and has a pretty steep incline at a certain point. Rustic, simple little spot.

We like staying here. So peaceful. Very nice. Met Danny the owner on this trip. We will be going back soon!

Quiet, clean and helpful when I kept getting lost!!

By far the nicest owners we've ever met. The sites are roomy, tons of trees and a river you can walk to within the park. Easy access of I20 and the town of Eastland, but quiet and peaceful when you get to the Riverside. Always a wonderful experience!!!

Great location, we just loved this area! Deer were amazing to just watch as we had our morning coffee. Weather didn’t cooperate but it was well worth the trip. We would definitely stay here again.
