The stay was OK once I got over the shock as I pulled into the park. The new host wants to improve the experience. The park needs some investment to 50A and some units are trashy.

Although there were mainly permanent campers there it was very quiet and we had site 19 right on the river which felt like we had campground to ourselves. Free laundry but only 2 washers and 2 dryers. Very convenient to see the Redwoods and great jet boat tour right next door.

While this is an older park, it was especially well maintained, especially the toilet/bath house facilities. Some of the sites are on concrete pads, the balance are basically grass but all of the sites seem to be quite level. The camp hose was very pleasant, helpful and professional. This park would be a good base camp for experiencing the entire Redwood Forest area.
