One of the most welcoming campgrounds we have ever been to. We stayed this time last year too. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. The campground and facilities are immaculate. And you cannot beat the location. We love Jonesville & Elkin!

The night patrol was very very rude to us. Probably will not come back because this is NOT the first time we have had a problem with owners and/or camp hosts. We have been several times and every time they seem to have a problem with us. 1) our dog barked 2) we were too loud (before quiet hour) 3) they shut our water off while I was in the potty and it was even at the hour they said we needed to have it off (because of the temperature) 4) again the next time we were too loud before 10pm and jumped a guy in our group for having 1 time in the grass. after moving it they didn't want it perpendicular to our camper although he was off the grass. I'm nearly twice her age and the rudeness I just don't care for, especially after spending what we did to stay there. So many of the rules I'm sure people break but there is a way to be respectful when communicating with CUSTOMERS. I run a pretty large business and in most cases a business depends on customers returning for your service.

We enforce our policies so everyone around you can enjoy their stay. After multiple noise complaints past 10pm, we had to come out—something we rarely need to do. When the same reminders come up over several visits, it’s worth considering why. Winter guidelines to unhook hoses are shared by email, at check-in, and by text, and we unhook any left attached at 10pm to prevent damage. Parking rules are also reviewed at arrival for everyone’s comfort. Jim & Marcia
