Rose Lake Park — Reviews

Nice staff. The store was empty, like not even a store. Has a nice lake, beach could be bigger. Putt putt is on site but very basic. Wish the pictures when booking were better because they are not accurate at all to what site actually looks like.

We love coming to Rose lake & we love the view we have always had on the lake A1, A2, & A3. The campground does have some things that needs to be addressed. Dead trees, Railing coming into the park are falling down but the manager was trying hard to fix the water issue. Hopefully they continue to fix things & make it beautiful. It's a great place to relax.

The tent camping area had no trees. They were all cut down. I feel like this also created tons and tons of ants plus flys.

It was an amazing experience.

It was a nice family vacation. The lot was nice sized. We enjoyed the quiet and the outdoors. The lake is beautiful. We stay every year.

I loved it. Other then I do not think electric scooters should be allowed

The site we stayed in was not clearly marked out and there was a car parked in it. I ended up in the wrong spot and to move my trailer. Other than that it was a good place to stay.

We have been coming for years. The last few times we stayed there has been very little interaction between staff and campers. The bathrooms are not very well kept, and the store is closed all week. Most of the week there isn't even anyone at the front booth. For a family freindly park not much for kids to do anymore. And no more mini golf.:(

Because despite it rained most of our stay our family camping trip was still very fun. The adults and kids all had fun despite the weather.

The stay was great, the view of the lake was the best, the park was quiet, we had a great time just relaxing, the staff was very friendly.

We stay every year and enjoy it, although we had 2 tent families and the restrooms were closed for cleaning on Saturday and Sunday when they tried to use them. I wish they could be cleaned at night. I had a camper so we were fine but the others were disappointed.

Our site was not accessible due to trees on both sides of the road. We could not get into it and stayed somewhere else.

Sonia was great at check-in. Very friendly and checked on us to make sure that we were OK. We were disappointed to find out that our site N-5, was shown incorrectly on the map. It is listed as a premier site with a view of the lake, but it turned out that it was not pictured correctly and instead of both sites., N-4 & N-5, being on the lake, N-4 has the full lake view and N5 is actually behind it. When we talked to the assistant manager, he said there was nothing they can do about it. It’s not a bad site, but it doesn’t fit their description of a premier site. Fortunately, for most of our stay, no one was in that site and when they came the night before we left, they felt bad that they would be blocking our lake view so they parked their camper in a place that still gave us a partial view

The grounds were well kept and the employees are friendly and helpful.
