North Pointe RV Resort — Reviews

Alot of road noise and train noise because it is so close to the highway. Just did an overnighter so didn’t use any of the amenities. at $80 a night thought it was a bit pricey.

This is a very nice park with very nice sized lot's. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because it is very noisy from being so close to the highway. We were on the very first row so we were right on the highway. The spot's in the back part of the park might not be as bad. There's also a lot of shade trees on all the sites. Very nice dog park. Very nice overall other than the noise from highway.

The RV park is one we’ve been to each year as we travel north to see family and then again on the way back home. It’s always been one of my favorites and I’ve always given 5 stars in the past. The price this year seemed to have jumped quite a bit and in comparison to others we frequent it seems quite high and not as much a value as it’s been in the past. And like so many other parks across the country, the majority of patrons are now full timers and this can sometimes make us “transient” rv’ers feel out of place. The employees are mostly friendly which may give reason to return but with other options at lower prices we may have to re-think places we stay.

This campground is absolutely gorgeous. Completely aesthetically beautiful. The spaces were fairly level, easy to access, and did not feel crowded in the space. With that said if you value your sleep and have a hard time with road/highway noise this place is not for you or you better ask for a spot as far away from the highway side as possible. It was the kind of loose earplugs can’t help with- meaning yes it certainly can’t make it quieter but this highway was so close that you “feel” the trucks in your whole body. The ground actually sent vibrations through our rig and consequently through your body. Also, of course there was train noise as well. This was only an overnight stop for us and as beautiful as it was we would not stay here again. Lastly, the office staff was definitely not the friendliest. Profession and not rude by any means, but not very personable.

The park was clean and decent and the amenities while quaint, were available however the places biggest downfall is the constant interstate 95 highway noise. You can literally see the trucks on the highway. So if you are looking for a quick 1 night rest stop, then this place is for you, however if you value a peaceful retreat, then keep it moving, the noise is just awful.

Beautiful space. Site was easy in and easy out for a quick stop off I95. My kids loved the ducks and of course wanted to go fishing before I was even finished cooking up the electric. There was little wind so mosquitoes were everywhere. But we’d come here again. Thank you!!

This place is amazing, well kept and very peaceful. We will definitely be back.

Very clean grounds. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Very relaxing.

This was the perfect place to stop for a few nights. Pool and staff were nice, everything well kept & shaded level sites.

North Pointe is located right off I-95, which makes it very convenient. What was disappointing was the men's bathroom did not have any locks on any of the stalls or showers. Additionally, the sink faucets are in need of updating due to all the calcium build up on them. Finally, the amount of geese scat around the pond is horrible. Impossible to walk around and enjoy the location. However, if you are okay with these things, North Pointe is worth a quick stop while you're traveling along I-95.

Great location and amenities for adults and kids.

Very clean well laid out RV park. There were a lot of seasonal. Only downside is it is adjacent to Interstate 95 and a railroad line which can be noisy at times

This was our second time here. Love this campground! It’s so pretty and we love to feed the ducks and geese on that beautiful pond. Great, friendly staff here, too!

We like being able to drive through and not have to disengage towed vehicle. We like the convenience of full hookup and it is so close to I 95. This works as we spend the night to manage our drive between our two homes.

Beautiful site, great amenities. I was in town to spend to spend time with family. Wish I had been able to spend more time in camp!!

Adequate-

I would have given this a 5-star rating but the spot we had up front was extremely loud with the I-95 traffic right next to the entry all night long 📣😱. Even with noise canceling headphones worn while sleeping you could hear it. The campground is very clean and organized! FYI - No fire pit at Pull Thru FHU site.
