Sacramento River RV Park — Reviews

“Sacramento River RV Park was a very nice overnight stop. We had an extra-long back-in site with plenty of room for our 45-foot motorhome and Jeep. The river was directly behind the coach, giving us a great view. Easy access, convenient for an overnight stay, and everything worked well. We would definitely stay here again when traveling through the Redding area.”

Sacramento River? Our site was up against Hwy 5 when there were plenty of better less noisy sites available. Not sure why more care wasn't taken in providing us a more enjoyable sire.

Staff was amazing spot was easy to find

The RV park was clean and served its purpose for an overnight stay, but I was disappointed that our site did not have a picnic table. The park also advertised Wi-Fi, but it was not free, which was unexpected.

Pool was closed. No real River access. Site was unpaved and left dirty with water balloons pieces. Hookup cable feed was cutoff. Lots of permanent campers in the park. Lastly, the Saw Mill was running 24/7 so it’s loud. Only nice thing was the view of the Sacramento River from our site near Sunset.

Wi fi had a fee

Easy to get in and out, beautiful setting. Only downside is freeway noise.

The camping spots were very small and there were a lot of long term campers active with all of their dog yards and stuff. Also, right across the river is a mill that was creating loud noises day and night so no sleep.

People are friendly and facilities are good and well maintained. Only real down side is proximity to freeway so there is road noise all the time.

Staff are accommodating and helpful. Good location and the park is well maintained.

Camp ground was awesome Pool and facilities were incredible Giving a 4 because I felt the lady at the front desk at check out didn't have the time of day for me. I felt like I was interrupting her phone call (on her cell) when when I asked a question after waiting my turn for her attention. Felt she was very rude.

Great pull thru overnight spot

Very clean and quiet. Nice views. Nice dump station.

The place is lovely, clean, and easy to check in. So happy here
