We use to live there, so it’s like coming home.

Had to wait for the camp host to recharge his tablet before he'd let me check in. Get the man a decent tablet or something. It was frustrating waiting for an hour to get checked in. Otherwise the site was nice enough. No complaints otherwise.

Beautiful location in a small port. I think for the price it would be nice if they let you use the showers and toilets.

Nice place. Walking distance boardwalk. Pitch is wide, with picknick bench.

Not what we expected. The camp host was very nice and has an adorable dog. We didn't stay for our complete reservation.

The spot we were given was hard to get into. In addition, we had a view of tarps and junk. No wifi was provided. Not a big deal but would be helpful. We were right on the main road in spot 1 with the stop sign and noise. We left a day early due to the accommodations. Not sure we will be back.

I thought the host Mark was chill. He and targie were efficient about getting us checked in. As far as the site goes. Not great for families with small children. Cars drive past extremely fast. The risk of kids getting hit is too high. Also your kids will be disappointed to find they aren’t allow to roast marshmallows over the fire. No firepit is allowed not even gas. One does not simply walk to the beach either. It’s a really long walk for small kids. There were many cigarettes butts left from a previous camper my child tried to pick up. Also the sewer lines had a strong smell. We weren’t really able to enjoy the outside space without the smell.

Been staying here 1-2 times a year for 15 years because we love the feeling of being tucked away in the harbor below big bustling Santa Cruz. Have to say the change to using Campspot reservation system has been a bit problematic. Never had difficulties when camp host Mark managed reservations. Glad he’s still there to welcome us and keep things organized. Also it has been a bit sad to see the lack of care to the landscaping around the harbor the last few years.
