Seward Municipal Campgrounds — Reviews

It was clean and welcoming. It was nicer than advertised. There was a camp host available, even though we didn’t need them. It was beautiful and a trip and experience to treasure.

The showers were cold!

Setting was gorgeous, good rates, very clean restrooms.

The campsite was close to downtown, meaning we didn't have to pay for parking when going to activities. It was clean and had nice walking trails and beaches, and the views were top notch. Only knocking a star because I wish the map provided to help find the camp site had street names and/or there was a map showing where the various sites were. We made two trips back and forth trying to find out spot before actually finding it. I would camp here again, especially having a general idea of where things are located.

There was a nice flat spot for my tent, there was a small grove of trees for shade, it was just across the street from the shoreline (easily walkable), and the bathrooms were the regular kind with plumbing and running water.

Our stay was very simple, clear and uninterrupted. The area was neat and accessible. Great stay!

I chose the date in the website and it showed availble spots. I picked one and reserved. Only to discover it was for a week later. So the reserved time I had I didn’t use. Fix the system so that it only shows dates you want availability.

Site was great showers were warm. RV/trailer waste dumping should be included for the price.

We paid for the campsite but then also had to pay to dump.

We love this location! I so wish there was a way to see if sites are cancelled. The walkability from the campground to town is perfect. Nice sites, views and proximity to fishing and walking trails.
