SCA is a decent camp ground what provides the basics. It is a small camp ground just south of Burlington, VT that is conveniently located on RT 7 which is one of the main thorough fares into the Burlington area. The restrooms and showers are clean and are centrally located. They have 2 laundry facilities but the main one for the park only has 1 washer and 1 dryer. There is lots of people hanging around waiting to use them, so plan accordingly.

Thanks for such an extensive review! We are indeed on the smaller side and we do like to keep life clean & simple for our guests. Our laundry facilities are an added plus to a guest’s stay; however, if there are no available machines, we do suggest that you instead use the laundromat 1.4 miles south of the campground in the Shelburne Shopping Center, where you will also find a pharmacy, market, hardware store & a lovely Italian bistro. Right on route seven and in the middle of Shelburne and yet this campground was quiet and calm. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and updated. Some of the nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen at a campground. My site had both electricity and water, which was very nice.

Friendly owners. Terrific lodging in one of the cabins. Kids absolutely adored that there was a firepit at the cabin. Great location to discover nearby sights and swimming holes.

This campground was so convenient and beautiful! Our site (#23) was perfectly level and very private. The check in process was quick and the staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were immaculate as was the laundry room. There was only 1 washer and 1 dryer but I had no trouble getting in to do 2 loads. It was the most reasonable ($) of any campground we’ve been to and we are full timers so that’s saying something! The grounds were well maintained and beautifully landscaped. With flowers everywhere, not just at the entrance to make a good impression. It said a lot about how the owners feel about their property. Loved being there and wish we could have stayed longer.

It was adequate. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Good location. Downsides were a homeless, drugged out looking man at the entrance, tight sites and Wi-Fi didn’t work. Looked back and others have complained about the Wi-Fi….fix it or don’t advertise it as an amenity.

Nice to be so close to Burlington, but very out dated and needs major updates..pool needs lounge chairs and a deeper end. Improve landscaping, just one washer and dryer. Everything very, very, very old and has nothing, but a gravel pad for your RV or camper. Possible homeless people sleeping there in the tent sights.

Thanks for your review. We don’t try to compete with major resorts. In doing this we can keep our rates on a lower level and noise at a minimum. Our 2 laundry’s have new equipment, with a large public facility in Shelburne village 1 mile away. Thank you! We LOVE dogs & cats & the occasional goat ❤️. As far as having pet receptacles for waste bags, we are a small campground and pet walkers usually just throw their waste in the dumpster bins by the entrance/exit road to the camping area.
