Shelburne Camping Area — Reviews

Rated5.0out of 5Fantastic!
Staff were extremely helpful and kind. Place was well set up and the camping spots were nicely surrounded to give you some privacy. Cleanest bathrooms of any campsite I've ever stayed at which was very appreciated!

Thank you for your positive comments on our facilities! We’re glad to have you back soon! Enjoy the concert! -Chris, Dan & the Staff at the Shelburne Camping Area

The facilities were clean and easily accessible. The site was a little snug for our 12' long pop up and our pickup truck and to keep things a good distance from the fire pit, but we were able to rearrange things and make it work. It was nice to have ice and firewood available 24/7 with an on your honor system to pay at the desk the following day. We'll be back for a concert later this summer at Shelburne Farms.

Very clean bathrooms and nice well kept plantings. Appreciated both of those details. Recycling available as well. Stayed in leanto and fire ring had some eggshells leftover from whoever was there before which some critter came and snacked on in the night that was not awesome but also not that big of a deal either. I felt safe and it was quiet. I would stay here again.

Lovely little campground run by a family. We really appreciated Santa and Mrs Clause stopping by to wish us a Merry Christmas and dropping off some home made cookies. Will definitely come again!

Well located in Shelburne, close to Shelburne Farm trails. 20amo electricity service only so don't run the coffee maker and the space heater together. Sites would be nice if having gravel, it can be very muddy when it rains.

This is the 3rd camping trip ive had where I stayed at this campground. I have a seasonal campground where we stay with our RV. By far out of all my camp spots I stayed before this is my favorite one. The location is perfect, the campground is small and quiet. The bathrooms and showers were clean, nice and friendly staff. Easy to get to the site. I have a Roof Top Camper I stay in when I am traveling. It's not expensive and it's a lot of fun. Will be camping here again in the future!

Bathrooms were clean, but small tight campsites with no privacy. Very run down.

We enjoyed the central location and friendly staff. The Shelbourne Museum is a must see. The camp ground is in need of a little updating. The laundry room has one dryer and washer, very old and needing quarters to function. The bathrooms were clean, but several stalls were out of order.
