Shenandoah Valley Campground — Reviews

While we stayed in our tent, we found out there is no nearby toilets around the area and no water supply in toilets.So RV is preferable to stay here than tents.

This is a great stay for families and friends looking to spend time together fishing, around a campfire, playground, riding bikes etc. All sites are side by side and it looks like the campground is busy most of the time. It is great place to park and explore the area.

When entering the campground, you will become amazed with its beautiful landscape. The campground amenities are great. The store has everything you will need for your stay. The staff are very friendly and professional. My kids were amazed that there were hundreds of friendly rabbits on site. They will approach you looking for food. I will definitely return for another visit.

Such a fun place to stay! A beautiful waterfall, sweet little bunnies hopping around everywhere, a lovely stream to walk and such wonderful hosts made it a great trip! Very close to Staunton too, which we live visiting. Will definitely come again!

Tent were too small for the price. The firewood sold by the campground was very wet (fresh) and was very difficult to use.

This was my very first experience at camping in a tent! Ina (may have her name wrong, but the lady that checked us in with pink hair) was so lovely to us and went out of her way to get us settle into our camp spot! She also helped our daughter when she came to visit us the following day! The camp was clean, great facilities and our spot was right on the most beautiful river with access directly into it! I would highly recommend this place! The pool looked amazing as did the hot tubs! Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use them. There were lots of activities on offer for the kids as it was a Halloween weekend and lots of rv’s had gone above and beyond to decorate for the holiday!

We loved it, it was peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed the waterfall and all the bunnies.

This was our first visit to this campground but it will not be our last! We had alot of fun here, the grounds were well kept, the amenities stayed clean... and well the BUNNIES of course! If I had to say something negative would only be that the showers need to be updated and the camping spots here dont have as much space as I like but it was doable.

Our 2nd time camping here. We enjoyed our stay, very nice campground with lots of different things to do. The rabbits are truly a hit so friendly. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Was under the assumption water and electric also included sewer. NOPE! Cable did not work and the wi-fi is non existent. Very poor OTA tv reception and cell service was at 1 bar. 🤬🤬🤬🤬
