Sky Lake RV Resort — Reviews

Overall it was okay. Trees could use a trimming to keep off the roofs when driving through areas and there are some bad roads going around the water. The dump station area was a muddy mess. My fire pit block was all over the place. Seems like a lot of people just live there so I felt like I was in a trailer park. Price was decent and no one bothered me so I guess that's a good thing. It just wasn't what I was expecting but not really bad.

No picnic table, insects were horrible, management other than the couple that were at the park was terrible to work with. We was staying here because are grandsons were in a mountain trail bike race that was canceled on Thursday night because of the bad storm earlier in the week which made the trails not safe. We had checked in on Thursday and planned to stay thru Saturday contacted management Friday morning and asked if we could get a refund. Management was impossible to work with. Drive way is filled with a lot of mud holes. Lots are right on top of each other. Will never use this location again.

Beautiful lakes, peaceful setting and friendly neighbors! The staff were great and kept the park clean and well kept!

It really has to do with the camp host. He was very helpful and made sure we had what we needed for our stay. Water pressure was a little low for the showers but everything else was fine. I just used my pump for my shower. Its a big place I will bring my golf cart next time so I can look around some more.

Great location just outside Springfield. Beautiful lakes.

Quiet, attractive, on a lake. Friendly folks. Sites are fairly close thus the 4 star instead of 5.

Beautiful view but the spot was a lot smaller than what we would like. There was no room. Thankfully there was nobody on the spot next to us.

It was quiet and peaceful.

The camp hosts were nice. The lake is lovely. Sky lake is more of a trailer park than a RV campground. 98% of the sites were permanent as evidenced by house-size propane tanks. We paid for internet, but service was down. The dump tank was full and could not be used.

Boondocking spots are great.

The campgrounds could use some updates. .. No extras at this campground would not call this a resort. No playground I saw, no camp store, etc. On our site the cement was all cracked, the picnic table was falling apart...most campgrounds have your site blown off for you there was leaves, gravel all over ours. We were there to attend the Blissfield flea market so we were not there a lot. The place was nice and quiet, we had a nice view of the lake and the camp host was very friendly. I would not come here as a family..not much to do. It was very convenient for us the flea market was only about 10 miles away. We camp at KOA a lot and this campground does not offer anywhere near KOA.

Great site, easy set up and check in. Beautiful location.
