Smith Memorial Park — Reviews

Smith Memorial Park is an absolutely beautiful location. The reservation process was simple and information was thorough. The view of the lake was fabulous and Hector is a great location for many nice things to do. The campground had two bath houses; one is newer and nicely maintained, but only 2 showers, toilets and sinks. With many people there on the weekend unforturnately a wait in line was normal. We were located near the office with very old facilities in disrepair, so we walked to the far end for the other facilites.

Park was nice and peaceful and they were able to lend us their outlet adapter. We love our secluded campsite #77. Would definitely recommend this campground to friends.

Site on a streep incline, tough to get the trailer level, but great location on the lake.

Amazing site!

Easy check in and check out. Organized, clean.

Water and electricity appear to be installed at the same time, water hook ups are 40' +- from site while electric was 20' +- on the opposite side of camper. So you have a hose running through your site. Didn't use any facilities (we had our own) great views, quite campground, clean grounds,rocky beach (just fine with water shoes) good swimming, the tiny little noseeum bugs were a little annoying. We would stay there again.
