Southern Winds RV Park — Reviews

It was just ok for an overnight. Grass needed mowing, lots of weeds, no one onsite that we found. Pretty basic.

Very quiet. Easy access to I 35.

Long sites clean easy in and out

Very clean, spacious and easy to park. Only negative was the high wind

Really noisy :( Although the spots were long and level. They did provide full hook ups which was nite and we felt safe there. It looked like a newly added shower house which we did not use. Plenty of room for our dog to walk around and enjoy some space. We were just passing through and it was convenient pull off from I35. So we knew there would be some noise but it was more than expected.

Ease of getting in & out. Great communication from the park!

Really nice campground right off I35, easy to get too yet quiet…paved pull thru sites full hookups, new picnic tables. The best part was the owner, he kept in touch with us and came out to chat with us and see if we needed any help after our late afternoon dark arrival.

Nice simple RV Park great owners.

New owners, obviously doing a lot of improvements to the park. Sites are long and level. Owners are very friendly. We stayed one night on our way through Kansas and we will definitely return.

This is a wonderful RV. Park. Very clean and welcoming. Laundry facilities, shower acilities, Wi-Fi, sewer, electic, water are included with your stay. Prices are very reasonable. Friendly people. Great location off of Interstate! Will be stopping again, thxs Ken & Effie

Michael & Stephanie are the consummate hosts. They haven’t been reopened long, after purchasing the park, but are making serious improvements. They checked on us after we had a minor problem with our motorhome steps. We will definitely be back.

Exactly what we needed. I quick and safe spot for one night. Very clean, tidy, large spaces. Nice and honest owners. Will choose again if in the vicinity
