Sparta Campground — Reviews

We are a Class A and could not maneuver the gravel road into the campground due to overhanging branches. We could see our site from the entrance and it was low and grassy. We weigh 24 tons and don’t do grass. Had to pass.

There is no internet and no cell reception. The gravel spots are over grown with grass and the grass spots haven’t been mowed. Not well lite at night when you pull in and the road leading to it is narrow two lane road with poorly repaired washed out sections that are scary to drive over.

It’s was not well kept. Could really use some modern upgrades. Like WiFi since the cell reception was practically non existent. The site we were at needed weeding or at least run a weed eater around so we don’t have to wade through weeds to hook up our camper

pictures implied creek - which was dry and weeds everywhere - and VERY near train tracks with loudly tooting freight trains during the day and during the night.
