Spirit of Ripley RV Campground — Reviews

Love this place. Stayed there twice this summer. Nice and quiet place. Close to town.

No restrooms or showers available for campers use. When camping with a group, we were scattered throughout the grounds.

Beautiful campground and spacious sites.

There is no Bath/Shower house. The flies were very bad. Some spots are very close to a busy loud road.

As a group, we were really spread out, even though the numbers were in numerical order. First time at the campground, the site numbers were hard to read. Signing in online and stating I could go straight to my site was hard having not seen a map of the layout. They called a couple of days ahead of my arrival asking if I would be OK with changing sites as those currently in the site had requested to extend their stay and would like to stay in the same site. I asked to be refunded the extra money I had put to hold my requested site and they were accommodating. They were very thankful. The new site actually worked better for me. Campground was noisy as it is next to the highway.

Wish there were showers and the flies were terrible. Otherwise it’s a wonderful campground.

Site was hard to find; didn’t see any bathhouses; site was muddy and had standing water on site. Sites very close together. Alot of long term campers that grass not trimmed around them; making the campground seem not taken care of.

The site was nice, weather was for the most part great, the owners were great hosts. All around was a great experience.

Nice spot for RV and beautiful park and lake across the street. Owners are very friendly and helpful.
