Spruce Point Park Campground/Marina — Reviews

I think if two families are sharing one site there should be a discounted rate for one, especially for power sites where only one unit is able to use air conditioning. Shower curtains need to be wider with no gaps. Icecream is a little expensive in comparison to other campgrounds we’ve stayed. Having a waste trolly to rent/borrow would be very convenient for people staying longer. We were in the middle of a charades game when a staff member came over at 10:15 pm to tell us it was quiet time. This was 100% fine as we just lost track of time, however, her approach was very off putting. In the future, people may be a little more receptive to friendly energy. You catch more flies with honey!

Beautiful park as always! Lots of amenities and very clean sites! Staff were all amazing and wonderful!

The workers are kind & helpful, campsites are very nice & clean. Great trees & privacy, so many options! Having the marina is great as well. It can get loud in the evening, but most abide by the 11pm quiet time. Highly recommend.

We love this campground! Even when the weather isn’t great there’s always something to do! It’s such a beautiful spot!

I booked my specific camping site in January. The computer system failed and gave me a random camping spot. No one called me to confirm my reservation, my entire deposit was required on booking. I had to rebook in May when my sister called to book an additional site in adjacent to the the one I thot I had booked. Really disappointed, I book 6mon in advance for a reason. No customer service,

Great site, love the marina.

We live being able to camp on the beach, seeing the lake when you open your eyes in the morning. The park is clean and always a pleasure to visit. Also has a pickleball court now. See you next year.

We e joyed a lovely summer break at SPP and cant wait to return again in 2027. The park is making improvments and it is appreciated., the mew firepits in some sites are amazing. The activities and compititions added fun for all. My grandson looks forward to the Canada Day bike parade and site decorating next year, lets hope it won't be cancelled due to rain.

Our stay was good. Although at times as in life there are things that are out of our control, for example. On our second night at this campground we were the unlucky recipients to having some of our items stolen from our site while we were sleeping. Apparently so were 15 other campers that same night. It could have been worse but in the end there is only so much a property can do, if certain individuals want it bad enough they will find a way. Note to self, lock all your valuables at night. It was a reminder that crime doesn't take vacations, but didn't let it ruin ours. The place is well suited to families and anglers alike, and the location is perfect for enjoying all that the huge lake has to offer. We will definitely try to return next summer if there is availability.

1. Our site was. Amid pit and called the front for someone to come fill it but nobody ever came so we filled it ourselves. Also, a lot of loud music around 1am. Ran out of waffle cones for two days. Concession was closed on Monday. Other than that it was a good visit.

We love this place! It’s has a great park., beautiful beach, nice size sites, lots of trees and a lot for the kids!

Beach front sites

Most things were great but the outhouse we used was an older one and needs replacing. It wasn’t cleaned very often either. The picnic tables need some attention too. The road has quite a few potholes and even though the tractor pulled a drag over it, it didn’t make a difference. We will return next year as always.
