We had a great time. We enjoyed the quiet time. We brought our quads and rode out of the park up into Capital forest. We are very excited for the park to be open again and looking forward to see what the park is going to become.

Great location, awesome staff!

I spent a weekend here with a friend and we had a wonderful time! Great things about camping here: - Lots of lovely camping spots in the trees and knowledgeable campground staff who will direct you to where the best spots are - Free hot showers - A nice hike on the property, with blackberries to pick (no pesticide use anywhere in the campground) - Valerie who runs the place was very kind and accommodating - If you mountain bike or dirt bike, there is easy access to Capitol Forest to go ride - Also 2 good swim spots within a 15 minute drive Downsides - A little loud from the highway and from people going up to the forest on dirt bikes

Camp host was incredibly kind. The park is very clean. No shade at the tv sites with hook ups which meant we spent time inside with the a/c. Not much for the teens to do but we took a nice drive and found some water. Park has potential.

This campground had been closed for a few years - open for business now. Beautiful area with amazing trees. Deeply wooded sites for tents or RVs which do not need electricity. The RV with electric is in an open treeless area. Very friendly proprietors and staff. Easy off/on from State Rte 8 about 20 miles east of Olympia. Firt bike trails nearby

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing. Turned out to be a great place just to chill, read a book and have a wee dram.

It was such a great stay. The place was beautiful, and the access to riding the trails was amazing. It's great to find a place like this, we will be back for sure.

This is a great place to camp right at the North edge of Capital State Forest. Campground host and employees couldn't be nicer. It's not a wilderness camp and you get a little noise from the highway but not bad. The campground was very clean.

I am a widow age 71. I travel and van camp a lot. I just enjoy being outside. This is a great place for camping and trail rides on a bike. The best thing about this campground is the lady who runs it. She was very accommodating to get me into a good spot where I would have peace and privacy. She checked on me once or twice but then left me to my peaceful relaxing. Another thing that was a surprise and a great comfort to me is that the gates are closed at the end of the day. I felt very safe knowing that I was safe from outsiders at night. Llllplllll

We were in the trees. Not too hot. There were a lot of open spots, and only a few other campers. The owners are working on improving the campground, and were very invested in making sure all was well for our stay.

Camp host was very friendly, gave us an insight to the trails behind the campsite. Very quiet.

This was a last minute find and a hidden gem! The camp hostess was so kind and the campground was great. Lots of space in each spot to set up anything you’d like.

The sites were not that private but the Pershing that ruins the park is amazing.
