Strongwater is an amazing campground ⛺️ resort. Spotlessly clean, excellent facilities and the host, Cheyanne really makes you feel welcome. There is so much to do right outside the door, so you will never be bored. It was hot during our stay, but the tall trees keep it nice and cool. Will definitely be making this a regular spot for our summer vacation.

Before our trip I wasn’t able to find what site we had been assigned in any of the emails I had received. I had to call about a different question, and that’s when I was told where we were staying. We arrived in the dark, with only verbal instructions on how to find our site. Having a site map would have been really helpful as it was our first time visiting. We realized after that we booked in a space that was I think meant for a big group, so there was next to no privacy. The people around us were friendly so that was nice. We were aware there was a family farm. No where did it mention a 4am wake up call from the roosters. 3:57am to be exact. The campground is within walking distance to the Skookumchuck Narrows trailhead and a cute bakery, which was nice. There is also a food bus with ice cream and things and a small thrift shop worth a walk through. The bathrooms were very well taken care of, just wish there were more. There were only two stalls with toilets in both the men’s and women’s sections. The campground was pretty busy during our stay, so there were times we had to wait. There is a place to wash your dishes which was really helpful. The showers are coin operated. Which isn’t a big deal, I just wish it was mentioned. We thankfully had a small bag of change from a previous camping trip. But our American neighbours didn’t have anything. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. I wish we had a heads up about the rooster wake up and that we would need to bring coins for the showers so we could be more prepared/comfortable.
