Sun Outdoors Arches Gateway — Reviews

Our site was adjacent to the main road leading into Moab. The constant traffic noise from semis, ATVs and general traffic was too much. Not the camping experience we look for.

This was a great location for a home base while we toured Arches National Park. Facilities were cozy and very tidy. One piece of feedback is that one of the dog parks was covered in foxtails.

Sun Outdoors Moab Gateway was an amazing spot! We stayed at one of the covered tent sites which was very nice. Spacious, nice and flat and close-but not too close- to all the great amenities Sun Outdoors had to offer. Pool, clean showers and restrooms even a good general store. It of course is nice and close to Arches NP, Moab, and the Lions Park with Colorado Tiver access.

The facility was great, but the sites were a bit to close together.

We were there for 12 hours. The pool and hot tub were great. Bathrooms clean and nice. Seemed like lots to do there. Convenient to the river. Beautiful scenery.

We loved the park. It was clean, had all the things we needed like bathrooms, out door games, hookups for the RV, a place for the dog. It was close to town, Arches National Park, and biking trails.

Great spot. We have a big rig (40ft fifth wheel) and had no problem getting into our spot. The campground is clean and well maintained. The pool is fantastic! Our kids had a great time. If you are trying to get to Arches this is super close. Minutes from downtown Moab. Would 100% stay here again.

Staff was super helpful and the rest of the facilities were great. The heated pool and hit tub were fantastic and used location was really convenient.

Park was great! Safe, quiet even though it was by main road, clean, site was great for us and our camper, dog run was appreciated, staff was friendly.

Conveniently located, clean, exactly what we needed for a comfortable 2 night stay! Would recommend if you’re looking for a budget friendly place to sleep & shower!

Convenient to National Parks, Downtown Moab, Highway 128. Bathrooms clean. Office staff very nice and helpful.Road noise was noticeable but didn’t keep us up.

Amenities were great . The only complaint I would make for improvements to be made is that there aren’t any benches in shower to put your toiletries or close on.

The place was exactly as advertised. It was clean, affordable, and in an excellent location. The after hours check in was smooth and the staff in the office the next morning was very pleasant.

I realize I was warned about the Moab 240. But by that point it seemed late to try and find somewhere else. The first night was OK, but the last two woke me up many times.

Very organized resy process and sign-in at arrival, friendly gal at front desk, pretty clean showers, however sites are so close and packed in that it’s like affordable housing in a huge city! 😛 Tenters and vaners too close to big rigs with generators! We were site 09. Ok for one night close to town.
