We had a blast

We had an excellent stay at Sun Outdoors Association Island! From check-in to check-out, the staff were amazing and made us feel right at home. The grounds were meticulously maintained, the campsites were well kept, and the views of Lake Ontario were stunning. The hardest part of the whole stay? Having to leave! We’ll definitely be back. 😊

Very clean beautiful area lots of activity’s

Wonderful gem of a campground. It was peaceful, the lake was beautiful (even when it rained), and it was well maintained and clean. The staff were fabulous and very helpful. This will be an annual trip for us!

Sunset lakeside sites amazing. They are set up for RV or travel trailer and sites are about 65’ deep. Pad is blacktop millings so might want to bring a rug to avoid a mess inside. I would also recommend bringing at least a 50-75 foot power cord as these sites have the power, sewer and water about 10 feet from the road. It’s a minor inconvenience but if you know beforehand it’s not a big deal. They also have power cords in the camp store. Lastly this is an island surrounded by water so there will be bugs. Luckily they are midges and not mosquitoes. Overall the grounds were nice the staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Had a great stay, could do better cleaning the tables and golf carts. My daughter stayed in a cabin and lots of spider webs on the inside looked like it hadn't been dusted. Our RV site was good. Biggest issue there was a lot of unleashed dogs.

Level gravel site, 50a, FHU, right on the marina inlet. Great view of the bay and Lake Ontario. Site was satellite friendly. Wish we had more time to enjoy the campground and maybe do a little fishing. Canada geese everywhere . Only bad was zero wifi. The repeater in our area was out causing a blackout on the section of ground.

Park was clean and inviting. We weren't prepared for the constant wind off the lake. Our bad! given the constant breeze we didn't expect the volume of insects that swarmed our RV. We couldn't open the door if there was any hint of light inside. It must have been a hatching season! The small flies didn't bite or live long but they were annoying as could be.

Our very first time camping on the island and it was amazing! The staff were great and polite. The grounds were immaculate. The sunsets were beautiful as well

Camp ground was clean, great amenities, beautiful location , quiet and staff was very helpful. We will be returning.

This was my second stay at Association Island. From the spectacular views of Lake Ontario to the friendly help at check in, we had a wonderful time July 4th weekend. It was so nice to see so many families with well behaved kids enjoying the great outdoors! Look forward to returning soon!

The resort is in the perfect location and the staff is amazing. Some of the facilities (bathrooms, showers, laundry) are dated and in need of some care and attention. The listing shows a “Dog Park”, but there is no dog park on the property. Wi-Fi was spotty at best. Honestly, those minor items are just that, minor. This place is amazing, large sites (with full hook ups on both sides), wonderful views, plenty of wildlife, and tons to see and do, both off site and at the campground. Everyone is so welcoming.

Beautiful campground with beautiful views! Grounds were well kept. Buildings were well maintained. Very friendly, helpful staff.
