Beautiful campground.

Great experience

Its what i expected looking at the campground map, very busy and tight camping spaces. Go in knowing that. The grounds around the grassy front area, the sand beach and the beach in front of the sand when the water is down needs to be picked up of trash, lots of little stuff. we stayed in a tent and it was fine, but it will be noisy. The staff was friendly. bathrooms were cleaned but the outside just needed a little maintenance and the walls sprayed or wiped down from all the cobwebs.

The staff was amazing. The campsite was perfect and the lake cant be beat

No dogs on the beach was really disappointing. I understand wanting to keep the beach pristine, but not being able to walk the pups down to play was a real let down. We had to pack everyone up and go elsewhere to play for the day. No wood fires was also disappointing. The campground is nicely kept, but so many rules you can't really enjoy your stay without having to go elsewhere. We will be looking for a different campground next time. If you don't have pets, don't mind no fires, and are ok with lots of rules and threats of fines, then it's a lovely place to stay.

It was simply lovely. My god, that Caribbean colored water in the lake! And the campground is well tended and clean.

We have been coming here for about 25 years ago. I know the new ownership is struggling to make this work, and I appreciate their efforts. However, our reservation was handled in error (we are Gold Members and there should have been no charges) which is something they should be able to do correctly by now. In addition, the lawns were in terrible shape; they apparently hadn't been watered recently. In addition the rules regarding tents on sites and the number of camping units on sites weren't enforced, which led to a lot of crowding and extra noise. BUT, the campground still has great access to Bear Lake, which is the primary reason that we, and many others, stay there.

My best reason for this score is because advertisement on internet needs correction. Beach access is limited! No Parking access for the beach, with the understanding that hotel parking is limited but took up all access to get things to the beach. If at the beach Bathroom facilities are limited to one stall for men and women if you have to go, please walk to hotel room or bathroom facilities 100 to 200 yard up the camp area to find a stall. Also please carry all beach supplies the same distance or more because of no access. Bathroom facilities may or may not be cleaned. The overall site accommodation was acceptable, please keep in mind advertisement for standard trailer site has only one vehicle plus trailer not the two car as advertised price increase for multiple vehicles and any toys that you bring. No where on website for payment of extra vehicles or toys so to stop confusion of group member coming together. Please start working on the information Sun Outdoors can be priced right if these things are addressed but if not, business might start to lack for bad publicity.

The rv site we stayed at was very close to our neighbors and our door was facing their door- so we needed to share the space in the middle. The neighbor sharing the space was having a family reunion and her whole family ( 20 plus people) were hanging out in the shared space. Their chairs were all the way up to our camper. They were very nice but it felt so awkward. I also wish there was a dog park. My dogs are very picky and refuse to go to the bathroom off leash. I loved how close to the beach we were. It was super crowded on the beach on Saturday- which is to be expected- but Sunday was lovely.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Clean, well organized, friendly, beautiful location, amazing amenities. Will stay again.

Sorry, I gave the rating to wrong campground. This campground was a lot less than what I expected.

It was great family beach holiday! Eric was great!

Awesome campgrounds. Newly refurbished pads, laundry, showers, and pavement. Also, offers private beach and hotels. Camp hosts are the best; helpful and friendly.

Our camp spot was good, the grass was green and lush, and the park was not overly busy also nobody was cutting through the campsite.
