We loved the pool and beach areas! It was a short first visit but the sites are well maintained and beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Great location. The planned activities were good and involved the entire family. The store was well stocked and had just about everything. My wife won't let me give 5 Stars because she couldn't not find coffee creamer! Hahahaha

Loved the Tiki Bar and the private beach. General store was very convenient and the ice was cheap for what I am used to. The bath house looks to be cleaned maybe once a week. Should be twice a day for $185 a night. The lawn care is lacking as well. I would like to see a weed wacker around the dump well. Foot long grass is not optimal.

The charges for nightly stays and daily golf cart rentals were extremely high. We understand inflation but you would think that seeing so many vacant slots in the 3rd week of june. In talking to several campers during our 10 day stay, they indicated they were seriously thinking of not reupping. We have been coming to Castaways since 2007.

Best waterfront campground. But the cleanliness and security has gone down hill. In June all amenities should be available every day, not just Fri-Sun. Still enjoy going here but prices keep going up and service is not as good as used to be before Sunoutdoors took over. Will continue to camp here though

Very nice well maintained campground with many amenities. Efficient check-in, nice wide campsites, great hookups with no issues what so ever. Facilities were are very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was early in the season so no activities were open for the children yet, but that meant we got to spend more time as a family. It was a very nice stay and we can’t wait to go back!

Overall experience was great. Our lot was flooded and caused a lot of clean up to happen but as we were leaving, a worker came and told us we should have called to have them put sand down day 1…. We weren’t aware that was an option. I do wish the bands had already started as I have heard they were great. The bathhouse closest to us did not have hot water/heat…. We picked our lot to be close to bathhouse for kids so that didn’t go as planned. Lots are level, plenty of room. Kids had fun with bingo and basketball courts/putt putt.
