Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains — Reviews

We've never stayed somewhere so nice and with so many amenities. We are in our RV full time and it felt like a real vacation staying at Sun Outdoors. The pool with the bar and fitness center were particular highlights. We did not have a golf cart, but understand why so many people do- this place is huge! Convenient location to Granby, Grand Lake, and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Always clean large camp spots. The dog park needs to be kept up better, people don’t always pick up after their dogs so the grass needs to be shorter. Everything else was clean, good hospitality and great place to stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful at all the facilities we visited. We also enjoyed a late night drink in the lounge. The park is beautiful and has wonderful facilities!!!

The campsites are cute with the vintage campers and lights. There's an oval above ground pool and Karaoke. Unfortunately Our site was right across from dumpsters and old appliances. A fence would have been nice. The campsite also had 2 levels which was pretty but not not practical. We couldn't pull our picnic table under our awning, there was only room for a line of chairs because of the lower level. Also, there's some type of tree in the lower level right near the doorway to our camper which drops tiny spurs which stuck to the bottom of our shoes and then inside the camper floor. Also lots of flies, probably due to the dumpsters.

This resort has it all! Pool, arcade, bowling alley, you name it! The sites were awesome with plenty of space, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. Our family had an excellent stay here and will be back for more time in the future. Highly recommend this resort!

Beautiful well maintained campground with so many resort amenities. Great shower facilities and laundry. Close to RMNP. The grounds and pool area near the lake with the bar/restaurant, game room and even a bowling alley, are just beautiful. Loved our stay here so we extended it.

Just not our vibe. Lots of families motoring around on their golf carts and there to party. The “restaurant” and food was underwhelming versions of pizza.

Very clean and lots of amenities

The resort was beautiful our cabin was perfect. There was so much to do there we didn't even have to leave the resort. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. We had a blast in the arcade and had some wonderful family time at the fire.
