We have always enjoyed our stay at Ocean Mesa! We are definitely concerned about the overall condition of the property. Broken walkway lights, dead plants, trash, etc. Hopefully the newer ownership will pay attention to their investment and NOT let their beautiful resort fall into further decline.

All good, lots of ants everywhere

This campground is completely overrun with ants! Looking at the google reviews (which I should have done before I made this reservation) it is clear that this is an ongoing and known issue. Within the first day our RV was completely full of ants, our dog's food was ruined, and so much of our own food was full of ants as well. They need to invest in some basic pest control around the sites. We will most certainly not be back.

Sun Outdoors exceed my expectations. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, with a beautiful pool and playground. But the thing that stands out the most was the staff! The young people who were working during our stay were so very helpful! Polite and kind. It was refreshing. Thank you all so much!

Campground was clean and well maintained. Check in was quick. Staff was friendly.

This place is beautiful. Great trials to hike on. The beach is in eyes view. It was quiet until about 75 High School teenagers showed up. Otherwise, top notch. One negative is that the sites are very close together.

Stephanie and staff along with maintenance workers were very friendly all weekend long. Would recommend to others and will definitely keep coming back.

If we had known the beach was closed before we got there, it could have been different. The website needs to be updated.

Lovely place, clean property and showers. All around a great place to escape the busy life.

Great location… Site 805 was spacious and private. Only a few things would’ve made it better… Being able to wash my rig. Having driven through the muddy washed over highway 101 we were slightly dirty. The showers fell a little short as well. No hook to hang anything on, and short curtains, so that water gets out of the shower. I know these are little things… And that’s the point they’re little things that should be easy to have in place. And to no fault of sun outdoors, there is next to no T-Mobile service. Thank goodness for Starlink!

Everything worked, things were very clean, and I felt very safe there. Had a great time with my family! Thank you!!!

Great clean RV park with friendly staff..

Didn’t realize the walking path to the beach was under construction. Bummer.
