Sun Retreats Birch Bay — Reviews

The campsite was fine and the staff were fine, however, it was extremely loud due to neighbors music and loud conservations going beyond quiet hours.

The stay was amazing , all amenities like pool, hot tub, access to the extra play area for other sport activities , every sports gear like soccer ball, pickle ball items etc , made the stay so much more fun for the kids. We enjoyed everything and the close proximity to the birch Bay Area was such an ease .

I was not thrilled the showers were not available until 9am. This aside, our family had a nice time. Staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean and sites were well maintained.

Excellent campsite. Best for families with kids.

It was a nice park full of amenities. Two pools and a spa looked inviting. The bathrooms by the pool were excellent and thank you for the nice shower area. Park was well kept and quiet. We went the week prior to 4th of July and there were many spaces between the RV’s which worked for us. Only reason not a 5 star is the second bathroom didn’t have the showers available. Otherwise 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

incredible amenities Clean We loved our stay!

The reason we chose this was for the pool, which was closed. The club house and indoor hot tub were also closed.

3.5 star Campground was great and plenty of amenities with the pool and general store. My only complaint is the tent sites are FAR from both and they are right next to the maintenence yard for the park. A lot of noise and equipment and a giant spot light (for security purposes) that lit our tent up ALL night, every night. Definitely an RV experience I think more so than tent camping but we had fun.

The site was great and me and my friends really enjoyed our stay. The reason I give three is because the hot tub was not in use, and the guy who was checking us in was very unkind. He didn’t speak politely to us and told me rudely to stop talking when I simply had a question because it was my first time staying here and had some things to ask. Other than that it was an amazing stay! The other staff we met were super kind and the facilities are in amazing condition! I do recommend even with those two downsides :)

Great campsite, spacious. good amenities.

The park shows pictures of the beach on its site, with no access to the beach. We had never been there before and the employees were not friendly or helpful. I gave it a 3 because the bathrooms were clean and it had a off leash dog area.

Everything was perfect t from the site cleanliness to the location. Travel time was perfect and who could ask for better weather

Nice park. Great facilities. Store, pool, laundry/shower facilities all good. Smoke was terrible (not parks fault). Sites are a bit dated but they are working on that.

Beachwood was very relaxing. Lots of amenities.

It is an easy location to reach. Facilities are kept clean. Staff are pleasant. Only thing I missed from previous stay was the goodie bag that included a variety of sweets and several stickers.

It was an awesome first time camping experience with our kids and family. Had a couple of Karen's that don't know that some folks getaway to camp with their families they haven't seen to enjoy every second with them before we part way for another year or so. But overall, the staff were professionally polite, the bathrooms were clean and it was definitely convenient for our family of 27 with 6 tents. Our family enjoyed it and will definitely be back.
