WHO Sun Retreats Fond Du Lac East — Reviews

The park is nice, people and staff were friendly and welcoming. My only reason to down rank is the site was not level, we needed to block up one side of the Motorhome to keep the tires on the ground when level. Also the roads are narrow and we have a large rig and getting into the site was a little tight. Overall once we got in, it was very nice and quiet, lots of playground areas and weekend activities but this trip we had no grandkids and did not stay the weekend so did not explore those amenities.

We arrived on Sunday about 4pm ish. Picked up our packet at the office we said we were on site 82 and provided a map. We navigated to the area and found 82 A but not 82 and so went around again. A gentleman in a golf cart (an employee) stopped us and said he would take us to the site . He took us to a site labeled 79S and said this was 82 - the site was covered in pine branches etc etc and he told us he would clean that up and bring us a fire pit. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he was extremely helpful. So we parked in the site however the sewer was at the rear of the site on the front of our unit and uphill. We had been dry camping for 4 days and chose this place with full hook ups so we could dump/flush/shower etc. We asked about a dump station and he told us is was very tight and did not recommend it. As campers do we made do we had enough grey tank space for a shower and the next day we pulled along to a sewer at the front of an empty site and dumped before we left. That’s when we say the sign for site 82 - beside a cabin in the grass (obviously no longer a site) you would have have been between a cottage door and the back of someone’s trailer with no space to sit etc. Very disappointed.
