Sun Retreats Horn Lake — Reviews

This was a large campground which was about 98% occupied which says something although the majority are working in construction and oil industry. The bathrooms and laundry room were very nice and kept clean. It is close enough to Memphis that you could go see the sites and music. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It was awful. The cabin was not clean or as expected based on pictures and descriptions. Additionally, cabin was in the flight pattern of the Memphis Airport. I would never rent another cabin from you!!

The host at the front was kind, knowledgeable, and very friendly. She made me feel welcome as soon as I showed up. The other residents were friendly as well. The sites were large and very clean. I didn’t feel crammed in with everyone else. The site is very close to grocery stores and restaurants.

It was a great cabin! Clean and the grounds were very nice as well. We will be staying there more frequently now. I was very impressed with the accommodations and how quiet the park was.

Trees need to be trimmed . On my site branches rubbed my morpheme.

Staff was wonderful! Restrooms and Laundry Clean and well maintained. Only 2 Tent site spots so do not hesitate to book. Water hook up and electric outlet at site as well which was amazing. Would definitely recommend and return.

We loved it! The location was terrific, the entire campground was immaculate and very well run!! Thank you for helping to make our Thanksgiving visit to Memphis so wonderful!

One of the best RV parks we have ever stayed. Larger spaces, wonderful people and great set up.

We would stay here again. It was quiet and well maintained. Our only issue was the dog park. Some full time residents use it as their dog’s personal yard and clean up after their animals. The dog park is full of poop, and you can’t use it without dodging piles. I wish the rules were actually enforced so everyone could use the dog park. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would could back when we are in Memphis next.

Very nice shaded concrete sites. They could do without the speed-bumps when the speed limit in the park is 5 1/2 mph?
