Sun Retreats Seashore — Reviews

We really enjoyed our stay here, but we're a little disappointed that some of the amenities we wanted to do were not available. The mini golf course was unexpectedly closed for maintenance and most of the games in the arcade weren't working. However they weren't marked as out of order so our children put money in to find out it was broken. When we spoke to the office staff they didn't have a key or money to reimburse us and we were told we'd have to call the company for the machines, which when called, didn't answer. We also were unable to get the wifi and cable box to work. The pool and the lake were nice and clean and we very much enjoyed those amenities! There were a ton of special events going on as well. The staff were very friendly and the campgrounds were clean and looked nice. Our site was flat and easy to get in and out of which was wonderful.

The staff was very kind and helpful but the campgrounds are way too crowded it’s like a parking lot. There’s only one dump station and it’s in a terrible location.

Great Site. Amazing location with super friendly staff. It’s for sure our new place when we visit Cape May and Wildwood.

Friendly staff. Nice, clean facilities. Shaded sites. Swimming lake. But with a resort fee being charged, try to build in time just to enjoy the campground so you get your money's worth.

The campsite was not so great. Cleanliness marginal. We book the previous week at Sun outdoors cape May/ wildwood and canceled due to the heavy rain and storms. So we came here the next week instead. Now Sun Outdoors will not refund our money. Very poor cancellation policy. We have stayed at many sun outdoors in the past. We now will think twice about ever booking at sun outdoors .

Very nice campground

Very nice pull through sites, friendly staff and beautifully maintained.

As much as I love returning to the seashore camp, as a tent-er it is important to have shade at your site. Unfortunately, the site we had was wide open and in between a group of sites that had been rented by many men. Their music, the dog off leash, and conversations late into the night made it an unpleasant three nights.

The beach weather was great. The campsite was clean. The mens restroom was clean.

Everything you need, nothing you don't. (Though maybe an escort to guide you to your site initially, a la KOA, would be nice -- this is a sprawling, confusing place). Fairly convenient location, friendly staff. The facilities are not "upscale" (e.g., there are quite a few long-term residents who have accumulated some junk on their sites), but the prices are commensurate with what you get. A fair value.

We loved the place, it's very quiet and clean, the people are very friendly and accessible to everything one needs, I would return without a doubt

Nice place. Just a little crowded

We loved our RV site. Unfortunately, weather did not cooperate so we did not get to enjoy pool, lake, or go to beach. But we will be back.

It was a clean site staff was super polite as well as all the renters on the property. They had plenty of things to do for adults and kids. I had an over all amazing weekend staying there.
