SLV Sun Retreats Silver Lake — Reviews

Arrived to find coffee grounds in coffee pot, trash still in the bathroom, dirty bathroom, sand on the kitchen table, bed not completely made in main bedroom. Minor things but cabins are not inexpensive and you would expect them to be cleaned upon arrival. Front desk was receptive to complaint and very nice, but a refund of some sort should have been offered I feel.

Staff was excellent, friendly! Weather great & pool was refreshing :)

The security was harassing my group the entire stay. The kids weren’t aloud to ride their bikes without a headlight, although they all had reflectors. He even told us to walk at night back to our site we required a flash light. Our kids weren’t aloud to ride their electronic scooters unless they were older than 16 while other campers were riding their devices and Michigan state law states 12 is the minimum age requirement . The rules regarding this changed throughout our 4 day stay.

The fitness center was clean and had lots of brand new equipment. The cement pads in the pull through spots were large and level. The resort store had many unique items to purchase.
