No ice at check-in/store Check-in not until 5PM when I paid for the day

My cabin was a little “sad”, but it was clean. I was with family and we all felt the whole place was pretty rundown. Lots of upkeep needing to be done. I enjoyed the lake but it used to have swimming, etc. We probably won’t go back.

Some improvements from the last year. But dock still sitting on a bank and not usable.

Good location , very old restrooms , no hot water and you should pay for a shower , dirty place , bad service , in general very beautiful lake and nature that’s all. Everything need to be remodeled

We had an amazing stay at Sun Village Resort! The campground is clean, peaceful, and very family-friendly. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the kids had so much fun. We loved the beautiful lake, great amenities, and relaxing atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back! The only downside was the bathrooms. They could be cleaner, especially during busy times. Overall, we highly recommend this resort for a family camping trip.

Extremely disappointed. The store never opened, grounds were not maintained, the grass field was dead. I've been coming to this resort my entire life. Its very special to me. Ashes of my late husband, step father and 3 if my dogs were spread there. So sad to see it neglected so terribly.

My family and I have been coming to Sun Village Resort for years, and sadly, this will be our last visit. Since the new owners took over, the place has gone downhill fast. What used to feel like a peaceful, well-kept getaway now feels completely neglected. The grounds look run down, the facilities are outdated, and it’s clear that maintenance is no longer a priority. Our unit wasn’t properly cleaned, and there were multiple things not working or in poor condition. We brought up our concerns, but the staff didn’t seem to care — no apology, no real solution, just blank stares and excuses. It’s obvious the new owners are cutting corners and aren’t focused on guest experience or comfort at all. Really disappointing to see such a beloved place fall apart like this. Save your money and look elsewhere Sun Village is not what it used to be. The grass is all so dead and the restrooms weren’t cleaned once when i was there for 4 days. No toilet paper & trash never taken out just unfortunate.

Mediocre camp ground. So much potential, wasted. There are way better places for price point. Host was rude and angry, followed with unexpected comments. No wifi. If the host provided a location/area to equal the expectations list (rules) theplace would be a 5*

I’ve stayed at Sun village resort every year for 49 years. The new owners do not care about customers or the resort. They’ve run it into the ground by not maintaining the grounds, boat launch, docks, bathrooms, store or cabins. It makes me angry knowing how much the previous owner cared for the campground and campers. We continue and will continue to carry on our beloved family tradition of staying every opening weekend but I really wish the owners would step it up and start taking care of the resort and to be able to communicate with customers respectfully. It breaks my heart to see it fall apart. Step it up! That park used to be sold out every year and now there’s always spaces available.

We arrived and left right away. the entire place smelled like garbage.

Solid campground close to the water with amazing views. The amenities need to be remodeled but that won’t keep me from coming back!

We have been coming here for years and always have a great time. Nice clean lake that gets pretty warm and decent sized camp sites to accommodate a big family! Will definitely keep returning!

We had a few problems with our camp site, so they gave us a different camp site, Got all set up to find out no power on our site , Your staff was right on it, Got buy for the night and move us again to a great spot !I Thing you did a great job taking car of us ,And we will be back THANK'S MARK & ALLIE MORROW !

Nice spot, great access to the water, quiet !

Store wasn’t open and no WiFi. however the peaceful surroundings and RV sight was great. We enjoyed our stay and be better prepared next time.

We had a 5 night reservation and on our way, the alternator on our RV broke and we were stuck in Idaho for 10 days, waiting for a new one. I called and explained that we were unable to make it to Sun Lakes and asked if there was any way we could get a partial refund or could our prepayment go towards our friend's stay. I was told that management would call me to work something out and never did hear a word from them. We had been going there every year since 2012, but never again.
