Sunset View Campground — Reviews

The site was very clean, the staff were fantastic, and the campsites were well groomed and taken care off. Fantastic view of the river also!

From the check in snack to the check out gift the owners could not have been nicer. They were so helpful and made sure you had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. The grounds were immaculate, the pool divine on a hot day. I wish we could have stayed longer. The facilities were well appointed and beautiful taken care of. I’d give it a 100 out of 100

The campground host was amazing. Escorted us directly to our site and help to make sure we were level, even gave us ramps to do this with. Also greeted us on our exit to thank us for staying and to make sure everything was okay. THIS IS THE CLEANEST campground I have ever stayed at. I would highly recommend this as a stop on your journey.

This is a very special place! Meticulously cared for by Jimmy and his family, Sunset View Campground is nestled into the beautiful riverside with open breathtaking views. Jimmy, who is one of the owners, met us as we pulled in and escorted us to our site and assisted us in getting our camper situated. Firewood and ice also got delivered to our site at no charge. Clean, well maintained bathrooms and laundry. Nicely stocked camp store. Bike and kayak rentals. Excellent riverside dock for easy access for fishing and kayaking. Many Saturday evenings they have music gatherings where a local duo perform, play guitar and sing to and with the campers that congregate in Adirondack chairs around the large central fire pit. This is one of the best campgrounds around!

This campground has it all. Dedicated staff, the place is spotless. Campsites are generous, it is scenic and right on the river. The owner greets you, assists you in backing your trailer up, delivers campfire wood to your spot and is always available to assist. It is dog and family friendly, the pool is heated. If you are tenting you will be impressed with the sites and the bathroom and showers.

Well kept property with great super clean pool! Owners are friendly and available to help or give information. Love the view of river! Very well managed

Superb campsite and hosts. One of the best we have stayed at.

Clean. Organized. Simple. Accommodating.

The campsite itself is well located. However, the spots need to be leveled. It is also a pity that there is a road just behind the campsite where vehicles can drive at 100 km/h. What we regretted most was that the owner refused to refund us for the last night because we shortened our stay by one night. He hid miserably behind his rules to justify the non-reimbursement. Fortunately, there are still honest campsite owners, who honestly refunded us even though the conditions were the same. As we were at the end of the season and the campsite was almost empty, we did not penalize the owner by leaving one day earlier. Making money off the client is so dishonest when no benefit was offered! To everyone, his conscience!

Clean, well laid out, welcoming and a scenic setting.

Clean, quiet, nice campsites and great staff!

One of the most well kept campground, EVER! The owners are welcoming and care for everyone visiting. There's a great heated inground pool, access to a dock and the St. John River, a small store, laundry facility and clean washrooms and showers! A definite stop every time we'll travel through New Brunswick.

Great customer service!!! Nice peaceful place to stop in and unwind.

Sunset View Campground is outstanding in every way. We were asked when we’d arrive and were greeted by name. Jimmy led us to our site and showed us where to park. The sites were level gravel pull-through, 50 amp. The site was meticulous, grass was perfect. The pool was fantastic, sparkling clean and 84 degrees. Firewood was delivered to our site. Security was great, with gates and codes. The wifi was excellent. This park should be rated #1! We had a great time, we’ll be back. Thank you!
