Surfside RV & Resort — Reviews

We booked a site at Surfside the day before arrival on the island - got a call from them when we were on the way, suggesting they could put us in a different site that had no one on either side, since the sites were tight (as are all the RV parks in this area), and the one I picked randomly on their web site had neighbors both sides. So nice of them! When we arrived, we were shown where our new site was and how best to back into it. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Park was very clean and quiet.

A very pleasant stay here in Port Aransas. Great location, clean grounds and facilities, very level site. Check in was very easy with clear communication from Office staff. The only thing that one might question is the width of the spaces. There is not a lot of room between RVs. This however was not an issue as we found our neighbors throughout the park, extremely friendly. We will definitely consider staying here in the future.

Location, bathhouse very clean, and a working hot tub.

Very tight squeeze, less than 6 feet from next trailer. Couldn't put awning out completely. Reasonably priced for limited amenities. Nicer parks were all over Port Aransas.

We loved it! Always clean and welcoming. The RV park has a really nice pool and hot tub, 4 separate men's and women's bathrooms each with a shower. Each side of the restrooms has their own set of washers and dryers for a small fee to wash your clothes after the beach. We will stay here again!

This is an outstanding location for your camping experience. The resort is very clean and convenient to the beach, restaurant and shops. We were close enough to use our e/bikes to get around town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning in the future.

I have stayed here multiple times and always impressed with the cleanliness and atmosphere and the pool. However I had to deduct a star because the ants this time were absolutely horrible. Not fire ants but the little black sugar or crazy ants. We ended up with them all in the camper after just 2 nights.

My family and I very much enjoyed staying here for a long weekend! Rosie was super helpful and very accommodating! The pool was the perfect size with little ones and the space and layout of the sites was perfect. My daughter loved riding her scooter around and making friends. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again!

The RV park is very clean and quiet. The bath-house was perfect, very nice showers. We didn't get in the pool but it looked nice.

Was harassed by one of the staff. We had a flag on our golf cart and waited till we left the park before unwrapping it to be respectful and was told while at the street we could not fly the flag in the park. Told the employee that is why I did not open it till we left the park and he was very argumentative with me. As soon as we got back to park he made a beeline right to me as we were unloading golf cart being rude saying we could not park there. Like the connivence of being close to beach and the park is clean. Did not like being singled out by the one employee. He was rude and not professional.

This is True Pride in ownership and pride in staff! You can tell the love and care that goes into this Park. It’s pristine! Some reviews mention too many rules but instead think of it as a consistent quality check for cleanliness, safety, and consideration for other guests. If that’s not what you value then try something else - but for me this is a fantastic RV park.
