Bathrooms have been updated and are very nice. Our site was small but doable with a condensed set up (could not fit our canopy with our large tent but it didn't rain so we didn't need it). If we had brought two cars like we usually do there would have been no chance both cars could fit on site. Neighbors were a little annoying, but we think it was because of the elevation that we could hear their entire conversations. We had wilderness site 85, but can see the other sites are larger and more flat. Lesson learned... pay the lock fee for a nicer site. One thing we found dangerous about the site was the cooking grate. We had to place stuff around the firepit to stop us from walking behind it and consequently taking out our ankles with the metal handles. Ouuuuuuchhhh. Store is well stocked, owners are very nice. Very long walk up and down massive hills to the real restrooms/showers but there was a portapotty nearby which served its purpose. It was cleaned daily and there was always TP in it. If we had a better site this would have been an easy 5 star trip. Hopefully next time we pay a little extra to get the nicer sites if they are available.

This campground is mostly seasonal. Many RV & trailers appear to be permanent. Sites are spread out around the pond. Water was topical of a NewEngland pond. Saw several fishing. They have a beach but, I don’t think I’d swim. Most sites occupied but, hardly anyone around. I suspect weekends are busy. Not sure we would return.

I was very surprised when we drove through the campground on the way to our site. I would guess that over 60% of the sites were seasonal and many of the campers were older and not maintained which gave the appearance of a worn, dirty campground. When we arrived at our site there were candy wrappers everywhere on the ground and a broken fishing rod beside the tree. With that being said, we did have a quiet week and enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing.
