Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort and Campground — Reviews

Their location does not work well with a 2024 Ram 3500 GPS. While this is not their fault it did cause us to get there after hours. Most of the time this is not a problem. However when you get there after hours and have NO water, that’s a problem. I went to check in the next morning, I told them we had no water at our site and the front desk said “ya that happens all the time, there is a valve that sticks” . They sent someone over and it was fixed. Over the next four days we lost water due to this valve three of the four days. That’s a problem! You know you have an issue and don’t fix it. All thats needed is a new hose bibe. Easy fix!

After we arrived and did an initial check of the site, we went to get everything setup and found there was a reversed neutral on Line 2 of the incoming power. Maintenance came out to check and could not identify a problem. Instead, they stated that our RV was trying to draw too much power having three AC units installed. I pointed out that this was not something new in RV's and that many other units in their campground were running the same thing apparently without issue. Rather than attempt to fix the problem they continued to say the problem was our 2024 model Brinkley and what we were using. We will not stay at this campground again.

Excessive ant mounds in campsite. Firepit had leftover prior camper trash.

The campground was clean, bathrooms clean, the grands loved the 3 different pools and the check-in went smooth. Trees were not big enough to provide shade for the camper, it was August and it was HOT!

Everything was beautiful. We needed a blanket as the sheets are very thin as well as the bedspread. The downstairs floor was filthy. Other than that it was completely comfortable and beautiful view. Thank you for having us !!!!!

Lots of fun and things to do. Love the 21 and over area. Karaoke 🎤 was interesting and entertaining. My favorite was the pigeon race! Will definitely go back .

This was one of the worst camping experiences we have had. They advertise activities for children but don’t update their website when the activities aren’t available. The spring was closed, no kayaking, no canoeing and the pool was closed. Their is also a 2nd pool on the property but the children aren’t able to use that pool due to it be 21 and up only. The entire place was under construction and honestly. The restaurant was closed, the rec area was closed and again none of this was even mentioned at the time we made our reservations.

Amazing people amazing cabin amazing experience. I do not like it AT ALL there’s a 5 dollar minimum for credit cards

Beautiful campground in a beautiful setting!

Everybody was super helpful this was my first time just bought the rv and we booked the wrong type of lot we got there at 10pm they found us a spot and put us in a new spot in the morning we enjoyed ourselves very much and will definitely be back.every thing was clean and well kept

We stayed on the original campsites/lower Rendezvous. We had beautiful oak trees to camp under. Dove races, chicken bingo, redneck bowling. The main office and food area was good. Friendly staff all around. We would recommend a stay here. I gave it a 4 due to the very clean restrooms do need updating.

Such a beautiful park. There were plenty of things for us to do, even having our dog with us.

It would have been 5 if the whole site wasn't gravel & sand. The cabana was wonderful and would have been even better if it was on a concrete or wood pad

Had the best time with the family. Beautiful place to set up the camper close to the river. Staff was great. Will definitely be returning!!!
