Swift Creek Resort — Reviews

It’s great that the campsite is still open in mid-October. It has everything you need. Although we could hear the train and the road, it didn’t bother us. There are some fantastic trails nearby, as well as shopping options—including a German bakery.

The sites are great but the toilet in a Container....

The campsite was good. The attendant that came arou d to check on things was awesome! She was always cheerful and made sure we had what we needed. Wish we stayed longer to explore the grounds more. The little park they had kept the toddlers and teens entertained. Really hope to come back outside of Salmon spawning season and when it's a little warmer.

The campsite was clean and tidy and so was the washroom. The site was easy in - easy out. The hostess was very gracious and helpful and asked if there was anything further she could do for us.

It’s an up and coming campground, huge campsites, very good wifi, well situated. It’s real camping on wooded lots, we enjoyed our stay very much! We had the pleasure of meeting Justine who was the manager as she was cleaning the wooded paths to the river. We recommend this campground!

Location is nice to connect either nature

site was beautiful. loved the privacy and the trees and the river. However, the train honking non stop was prohibitive to getting a good sleep in a tent. Also, there was a family that was looking for their lost pet? maybe - and from 10-12 pm were screaming and pacing the campground calling for it. which also effected our sleep. Additionally, the bathroom/portapotty was gross. A beautiful spot and looked decently maintained but very loud and we did not get a good rest at all.

Sites were decent size, power and water, campfires were allowed and site managers were friendly.

Very nice staff and Valemount is a great city. But I would not recommend staying at Swift Creek Resort until they are done with renovations.

The campground is quiet and the sites were set up well but the “bathroom” needs improvement.

Lovely spot, great owners. Can’t wait to see what it will be like next year with the coming upgrades!

Great wilderness camping with full hookups. Looking forward to what the renovations will be like next time.

Need centralize Washroom facility.

They sell fire wood but it’s really scrap wood like 2x4s and garden stakes. The mosquitos were relentless. The host was so nice though!!

The price was more than reasonable for the serviced RV site, however, the website I booked through said there were flush toilets. Not that we found. There was a port-a-potty. There were also signs saying bears were in the area, but the garbage bins provided were not at all bear proofed. They weren't even latchable. The site itself was relatively clean, although there was some minor trash on it. We were only there for the night so didn't really check the rest of the resort out.
