Nice campground. Fun spot on the water. The cabin was pretty nice but needs to be stocked better with more glasses, forks, etc.

Always a great place to take the grandkids or get away for a bit. Friendly staff and great location!

We went with a group of family and friends. 2 parties rented camp sites and I rented a cabin. The only positive was the cabin was clean. Although I would not rent from them again, we could hear mice during the night within the crawl spaces and later found mice droppings in the closet drawers. The worst part was the lack of communication and not being informed of them chopping trees and burning them. We would wake up to the chain saws every morning but the worst was coming in from a long hike and the entire campsite is smoked out from them burning 3 large piles of the chopped trees next to all the campers. They burned for over 24hrs causing everyone’s campers to fill with smoke and the cabin smelt like a smoke bomb went off inside. We woke up the next morning with ashes all over our cars, campers, chairs, picnic tables. Absolute nightmare to spend 400+ for a 2 night stay in a cabin and the owners of Sylamore taking no consideration to their guest experience nor their health for that matter. I understand maintenance needs to be addressed during business hours, but creating fires right next to your guest (fires large enough that they can be seen from a mile away) is very unprofessional. Next time I hope Sylamore takes their guest into consideration and either close for a few days or give their guest a heads up. I would not recommend this venue to anyone for multiple reasons.

We had a great experience at Sylamore Creek. This was my second time staying with them, but the first time I was river-front. I greatly enjoyed staying there and the setting is absolutely beautiful. All the other campers were also very considerate and cordial.

Wonderful people and staff is absolutely awesome and helpful with all your needs. Family atmosphere all throughout. Scenery awesome. Facilities are very clean.

Very clean , very accommodating, close to alot of craft and antique places. All the places we ate were super.

Camping spot was great, we got a lot of bang for our buck! I would recommend those place to anyone wanting to go to Mountain View camping to stay at Sylamore creek campground!
